We're looking for a 1st Shift Logistics Coordinator to join our team, as one of the largest manufacturing companies in the Northeast!!!
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate movement of inventory within the warehouse. Pay- $18.00/ hour
Duties:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Unload and load trucks using a pallet jack or reach truck
- Verify accuracy of shipments by comparing items received to packing slips or purchase orders
- Sort, label, and stock incoming inventory in designated storage areas
- Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outgoing shipments
Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to operate a pallet jack or reach truck safely and efficiently
- High-Lo forklift experience is a MUST!!
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and documentation
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
