Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and possess a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, as well as proficiency in operating lathes and stamping presses.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and stamping presses, to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Utilize SolidWorks for design modifications and CAM programming for machine setup.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in fabricated components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery or production processes efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse operations and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is preferred.
- Familiarity with programming logic controllers for automated machinery operations.
- Strong skills in operating lathes, stamping presses, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks for design purposes is a plus.
- Experience with CAM programming for efficient machine operation is advantageous.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers for quality control checks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
