Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production equipment according to specifications and instructions
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand product specifications
- Use various tools and equipment, such as milling machines, presses, and hand tools, to assemble and fabricate parts
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet required standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in tooling, machining, or related field
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Ability to assemble parts using various tools and equipment
- Experience with press operations and milling machines is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
