Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery and a strong understanding of production processes. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery such as milling machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines to produce high-quality components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production specifications are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise during production.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in CAM programming for automated machinery when required.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the facility as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating milling machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines is preferred.
• Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Forklift certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
