Responsibilities
- Operate polishing equipment and hand tools to finish metal parts and components.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Utilize various techniques such as sanding, buffing, and grinding to achieve desired finishes.
- Assemble parts as needed after polishing to prepare for further processing or shipping.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and productivity.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in operating machinery such as press brake machines, cranes, and laser cutting equipment when necessary.
- Participate in quality inspections to identify defects or areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in polishing or similar roles within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and machining processes is essential.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate press brake machines, weld, and perform electrical discharge machining is advantageous.
- Experience with quality inspection processes and standards is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.25 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
