Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machines to shape and bend metal components according to specifications. This role requires precision, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
1st shift 6am - 2:20pm
2nd shift 2pm - 10:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up press brake machines to produce metal parts to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve precise bends and angles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role.
- Familiarity with press brake machines (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CNC programming for press brake machines.
- Knowledge of various metals and their properties.
- Certification in manufacturing or metalworking (a plus).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
