Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery, ensuring quality control throughout the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operations, basic math skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, including press brake machines, to ensure efficient production.
- Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products and packaging to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the manufacturing process.
- Program and set up machines as needed, including CAM programming and logic controllers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling when necessary.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes related to production.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with programming machinery, including CAM programming and logic controllers, is a plus.
- Ability to operate press brake machines effectively.
- Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
