Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for performing repetitive inspections including visual, dimensional and bench inspections.
Duties:
- Perform quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Conduct inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments
- Analyze data and test results to identify trends or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes
- Participate in the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality-related activities
- Document all quality-related activities, including test results, inspections, and non-conformances
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and quality management principles
- Ability to fabricate and analyze products using various tools and equipment
- Proficiency in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from standards
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends or areas for improvement
