Duties
- Assist in the operation of machinery and tools under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Gain proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards.
- Participate in the setup and operation of plastics injection molding processes.
- Support CAM programming tasks and learn SolidWorks for design applications.
- Develop mechanical knowledge through hands-on training with tooling and electrical discharge machining.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Apply mathematical skills to assist in calculations related to production processes.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
- Understanding of CAM programming concepts is advantageous.
- Experience or interest in plastics injection molding processes is desirable.
