We are seeking a detailed estimating/project management assistant for our construction company. This position will assist the project manager in estimating projects, job tracking, project scheduling and coordination, project management, procurement, safety procedures and securing leads.
Responsibilities
- Assist project manager in preparing detailed construction estimates and budgets for projects.
- Collaborate with project manager to ensure accurate cost control and pricing strategies.
- Support negotiation processes with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress on-site and assist in managing contracts and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate project management tasks.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficient in construction estimating and cost control techniques
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies within the construction industry
- Experience with project management and construction management practices
- Familiarity with contracts and negotiation processes
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites and collaborate with project teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
