What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaper/Laborer position at Elements Landscaping?
Seeking Landscaping laborer. Potential year-round work with snow removal in winter months. Pay starts at $18.00 - $20.00 depending on experience; review after 90 days with potential for raise and annual review (potential pay increase)
- Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project
- Operate various tools and equipment, including: chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
- Assist in the construction of walkways, patios, fire pits, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis
- Dig ditches or trenches
- Install plant materials per job
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
- Assist Crew leader with job-related tasks
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
