Description
We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to join our team at Glenn Metalcraft. The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining production schedules at all four Elemet Group facilities to ensure that customer demands are met efficiently and on time. This role involves coordinating with various departments such as production, procurement, inventory, and sales to balance capacity and demand, optimize resource utilization, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer orders, forecasts, and production capacities.
- Ensure the schedule aligns with business objectives, resource availability, and inventory goals.
- Monitor and analyze production capacity to ensure alignment with the schedule.
- Identify and address bottlenecks or resource constraints.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams to align schedules with material availability and customer requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and updates.
- Ensure that production schedules align with inventory strategies to minimize overstock or shortages.
- Coordinate with inventory control teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling, production efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Proactively address deviations from the schedule to minimize disruptions.
- Continuously assess and improve scheduling processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness.
- Implement best practices and adopt scheduling tools/technology as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in scheduling software and ERP/MRP systems. JobBoss experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

The expected base pay range for this position is between $65,000 and $95,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
