Head Quality Control Officer - Glenn Metalcraft

Are you ready to lead the Quality Assurance team towards excellence at Glenn Metalcraft? As the Head Quality Control Officer, your mission will be to ensure that our Quality Management System (QMS) maintains its reputation for meeting elevated standards and customer expectations. Your team will consist of dedicated technicians and inspectors whose work aligns with our robust vision.

Core Responsibilities

• Leadership and Management: Direct and energize the Quality Assurance team, embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• QMS Development: Innovate and refine the QMS processes to meet ISO 9001 and other relevant standards, ensuring comprehensive organizational understanding and compliance.
• Supplier Relations: Handle the nitty-gritty of quality assurance documentation with our suppliers, optimizing performance and conformity to specs.
• Issue Resolution: Be the detective and solver of quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions.
• Budget Management: Strategically handle the budget for the quality department, allocating resources effectively.

What You Bring

• Degree in appropriate fields: Business Management, Engineering, etc., with a focus on Quality Management.
• At least ten years cutting through challenges in similar roles focused on quality management.
• Proven track record with ISO 9001 – you know the audits inside and out.
