Staff VP Pharmacy, CarelonRx

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL, Hybrid Work

Responsible for leading the Home Delivery pharmacy service within CarelonRx. This role is responsible for the P&L for the Pharmacy and leads teams that manage digital home delivery strategy, growth initiatives and operations. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Drives overall growth of the Home Delivery pharmacy across the Health Plans and CarelonRx PBM clients.

• Identifies and defines new and innovative strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.

• Ensures a positive patient first culture that delivers high quality services efficiently and effectively.

• Ensures compliance with all pharmacy regulations and patient consultation, medication adherence, doctor, and patient coordination for better clinical outcomes.

• Provides clinical guidance, support, and education to the clinical account leaders in support of client objectives.

• tools and emerging technologies to optimize call and pharmacy performance.

• patients’ preferred channels are met.

• Leads a high touch, digitally enabled medication management service that integrates into the patient’s care plan that drives better clinical and financial outcomes.

• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports and directly supervises the management of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in managed care/health care or PBM/pharmacy environment or related field including a minimum of 5 years management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Capabilities:

Prior experience with high volume mail order, central fill or home delivery pharmacy is strongly preferred.
