Assistant Controller

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of corporate accounting practices, and the ability to manage multiple financial functions effectively.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger accounting.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Balance sheet reconciliation.
• Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Monitor cash management processes to optimize liquidity and cash flow.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Support the Controller in developing financial policies and procedures.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Proven experience in corporate accounting, including account analysis, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management.
• Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and forecasting methodologies.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
