AR/AP Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated AR/AP Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting with financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting skills and grow in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Generate customer invoices
• Process customer payments
• Enter vendor invoices
• Track vendor documentation (W9/COI)
• Maintain customer records
• Support A/P and A/R managers
• Meet accounting standards and practices

Job Qualifications:

• High school education or higher
• 2 years accounting experience; specifically, A/R & A/P
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online
• Proficient with Excel and Google Suite
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical practices
• Knowledge of word processing, managing files and records
• Knowledge of general office procedures and terminology
• Ability to compose business correspondence including emails
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers and managers via verbal and written communication
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly into a telephone
• Ability to sit for long periods of time: a significant amount of desk/computer work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:
