About Elevate Physical Therapy: We are a growing outpatient physical therapy clinic in Arlington Heights. We treat patients with pain, injury and after surgery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Uses our patient portal and appointment reminder systems to manage scheduling, interact with patients and providers, and update files and patients’ records.
- Serves patients by greeting them, answering routine questions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
- Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and takes detailed messages as needed.
- Optimizes patients’ satisfaction and works as a team player.
- Assists patients in filling out insurance forms and other patient records.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of a patient’s arrival
- Collects patient intake information and collects patient's benefit information via computer or phone portal
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, monitoring credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Provides directions to the office to new patients and vendors.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Handle clerical duties including filing, scanning, and organizing documents to ensure a well-maintained office environment.
