Position Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities in the SMB market. This role requires a proactive, consultative sales approach and the ability to build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential SMB clients through networking, cold outreach, and inbound inquiries.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress through the sales cycle using a CRM.
- Consultative Selling: Educate prospects on the value of managed IT services, conducting needs assessments and presenting tailored solutions.
- Proposal Development & Closing: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, business owners, and IT managers.
- Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to refine sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Qualifications:Experience: 2 years of sales experience, preferably in MSP, IT services, or technology solutions.
- Knowledge: Understanding of managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and IT support needs of SMBs.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to discuss IT solutions in a way that is understandable to business owners without a technical background.
- Motivated & Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools, Email Marketing, and Social Media to track opportunities.
