Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Industrial Safety Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment within our industrial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, particularly those set forth by OSHA, and will be instrumental in promoting safety practices across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records related to workplace injuries, incidents, and safety training sessions.
Experience
- Proven experience in occupational health and safety roles, with a strong focus on EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management strategies and compliance management processes.
- Experience with workers' compensation systems and reporting requirements is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using construction management software to track safety metrics and compliance documentation.
This job will start on Immediately Pay is $35 an hour. Job will begin on 3/31 and end on 4/14
MUST have previous experience in an industrial setting and have a current OSHA 30
