WHO WE ARE:
Elevate Creative – the creative arm of Elevate – designs branded environments that enhance the holistic fan experience. The studio creates comprehensive design solutions for the world’s most attended sporting venues and events–ranging from brand activation, signage systems, environmental graphics, and partner integration. Our role is to ensure the best product and experience for the audience–be that a student-athlete, a donor or corporate partner, a team or league, or of course the dedicated fans.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Are you passionate about bringing sport-specific projects to life through innovative design? As an Events Designer, you will play a pivotal role in every phase of our projects, from initial design development to seamless implementation. You will need to fully adopt the intricacies and underlying principles of our unique and all encompassing approach to project development. Your expertise in the realm of the built environment and various aspects of environmental design will be a valuable asset. You'll also bring a familiarity and interest with facets of the print production process and materials/fabrication techniques to the table. You'll work hand in hand with fellow designers, project managers and clients to drive projects from conception to completion.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Work collaboratively with the project team on a day-to-day basis from conceptual through implementation
- Create style guides and standards to be shared with third-party partners
- Develop programming strategies for messaging and signage elements within a graphic system
- Create holistic design solutions at various scales across multiple venues such as stadiums/arenas/hotels, building wraps, street banners, temporary signage, etc.
- Deliver production-ready artwork to specifications and standards set in design development.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or a portfolio that reflects strong graphic abilities
- Experience with built environments/familiarity with Environmental/Experiential Graphic Design
- 2-5 years of professional experience
- Experience working with multiple project teams and clients
- Experience reading, interpreting, and working with architectural plans and construction documents
- Print Production experience: creating print-ready files, color selection and refinement, etc.
Skills
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Strong conceptual eye with an ability to evolve ideas / concepts and implement unique solutions into a graphic system
- Ability to take ownership of any phase of the design process
- Comfortable working in scale, familiarity with CAD tools
- Quickly generates ideas and concepts while clearly and concisely articulating thoughts to both internal teams and clients.
- Openness to receiving feedback and implementing in an effective/efficient manner
- The ability to work on multiple projects in multiple phases–working with the design team, project leadership team, as well as the ability to communicate with fabrication partners/printers as needed
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and lead projects throughout the entirety of the process
- Strong conceptual, typographic, visual communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, capable of both independent and collaborative work, and views teamwork as a vital asset
- Self-awareness, accountability, adaptability, and a high degree of emotional intelligence
- Knowledge of Fabrication methods and materials is a plus

- $50,000 - $70,000 base salary
