HR BUSINESS PARTNER OVERVIEW:
Elevate’s most important asset is our people. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for helping business leaders and their leadership teams develop and implement a people and culture strategy that best supports their business needs. You will act as coach, trusted advisor, change agent, consultant and thought partner on all things people within the business. You will be an integral part of the People team, seamlessly delivering all aspects of the employee experience to various client groups. This particular role will be a key strategic partner to our Brand, Property Sales, College and Marketplace teams and will contribute to building great People practices in the overall organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build relationships with leaders to offer thought leadership on organization and people-related strategy and execution
- Develop a commercial understanding of the organization to appropriately guide and influence leaders on their people-related agenda
- Apply expertise in the following areas: performance management, career planning, coaching, analysis of people data, compensation, complex employee relations issues, and learning and development
- Acts as a change agent by playing an integral role in guiding change management with leaders and employees through strong communication and cross-team alignment
- Create, measure and monitor HR metrics to analyze trends, extracting key insights in order to help make data driven decisions that support HR strategy and initiatives
- Lead the people cycles throughout the year to include compensation reviews, performance reviews and promotion reviews.
- Proactively support leaders and employees to make people-centric decisions while maintaining consistency across the organization
- We are evolving our systems and processes to catch up with our tremendous growth; you will spend time iterating between strategic work and transactional responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7 years of progressive experience HR experience creating measurable impact in a high growth company
- At least 5 years experience as an HR Business Partner
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Senior Leadership (i.e. Vice President level)
- The ability to work high and low, transitioning from being a part of strategy one moment to diving deep in details and working tactically the next
- An analytic mindset - comfortable making trend based decisions
- Demonstrated solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business.
- Superb communication skills. You believe in keeping all of your stakeholders in the loop and know that multiple mediums of communication are the key to success
- Has an entrepreneurial spirit - we have a lot to build, so adaptability and flexibility will serve you well
