The Interior Designer role is focused on developing compelling spatial, material, and experiential design solutions. You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing fresh ideas, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to create immersive, brand-driven interiors and environments.
We’re seeking an interior designer who is energized by the creative process, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and can balance innovative design thinking with practical execution. You are confident sharing ideas and taking initiative but approach feedback with humility—seeing every challenge as a chance to grow. You bring curiosity, adaptability, and a strong eye for detail, ensuring that every space, material, and fixture is thoughtfully considered.
Successful candidates come from diverse backgrounds—whether it’s Interior Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, Scenic Design, or Experiential Design—but you don’t need to check every box. We value cross-disciplinary thinking, a strong sense of spatial storytelling, and the ability to transform creative concepts into real-world experiences.
ABOUT YOU:
EXPERIENCE:
- A well-curated portfolio showcasing process, conceptual design, space planning, material selection, and execution of interior projects
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Interior Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or Experiential Design
- Comfort working under guidance on mid- and large-sized projects, collaborating with senior designers and project teams
- Experience engaging with clients on design intent, participating in presentations, and incorporating feedback
- Ability to execute within defined boundaries while also pushing creative boundaries and exploring unique approaches
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality design standards
- Experience delivering assigned tasks on time and within project constraints
SKILLS:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Preferred exposure to 3D Design Tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or CAD equivalent). Proficiency with presentation tools (Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint)
- Creative Thinking: Ability to perform insightful research, generate new ideas, and integrate brand stories into multi-dimensional environments
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to work effectively within a team and present ideas
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design execution, from visual elements to technical accuracy
- Passion for Learning: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced creative environment
- Problem-Solving: Creative thinking and a solutions-oriented approach to addressing project challenges
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Hand Sketching & Visualization: Ability to quickly sketch spatial ideas and perspectives to communicate design intent in concept development and client meetings
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Develop & Execute Design Concepts – Create mood boards, spatial layouts, material palettes, and renderings to communicate design intent
- Contribute to Space Planning & FFE – Assist in developing space plans, furniture layouts, and FFE (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications
- Research & Source Materials – Stay up to date on industry trends, source materials and finishes, and maintain vendor relationships to support project needs
- Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with architectural firms, consultants, and fabricators to develop technical documentation and ensure seamless project execution
- Prepare Client-Facing Presentations – Develop compelling visual presentations, including digital design decks, physical sample boards, and 3D renderings
- Engage in Construction Documentation & Coordination – Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs & submittals, and coordinate with contractors to ensure design intent is maintained during documentation, fabrication, and installation
- Support Vendor & Consultant Coordination – Interface with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure project alignment and material feasibility
- Receive & Incorporate Feedback – Work under the guidance of senior designers and creative directors, refining designs based on internal and client feedback
- Balance creative vision with project budgets, working with vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effective material selections
- Maintain and organize material sample libraries, coordinate vendor presentations, and ensure the team has up-to-date resource materials for projects
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
- Environmental & Experiential Graphics – Understanding of large-scale branding, wayfinding, and signage integration within sports and entertainment spaces
- Construction & Fabrication Knowledge – Familiarity with stadium and venue construction processes, millwork detailing, and materials suited for high-traffic environments
- Lighting & AV Integration – Understanding of architectural lighting design, LED integration, and audiovisual considerations in immersive experiences
- Motion & Interactive Media – Ability to concept and collaborate on digital overlays, projection mapping, and kinetic installations that enhance the fan experience
- Sports & Entertainment Industry Knowledge – Familiarity with fan engagement strategies, sponsorship activations, and operational needs in stadiums, arenas, and entertainment venues

- Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
- Ability to travel as needed (less than 10%)
