Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for performing tasks related to construction, maintenance, and excavation. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while ensuring that all equipment is operated in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Work around heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, dozers etc.
- Work in a very fast pace environment
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Skills
- Have experience in skids and rollers
- Grease and fuel Equipment
- Able to lift 60 pounds
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Ability to work all day
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for operating vehicles on job sites.
