Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and efficiently. This role is crucial for maintaining the productivity of our operations, and the successful candidate will play a key part in supporting our projects on-site.
Duties
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including loaders, dozers, skids, excavators etc.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure quality equipment.
- Execute construction tasks such as grading, excavation, and site preparation using heavy equipment.
- Dig Pads, Footings and frost walls
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in heavy equipment operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Experience in running GPS
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- **Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment**
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety practices.
- Previous experience in construction or agricultural settings is an advantage.
