Job Title: Bartender at Cheba Hut
**Overview:**
We are seeking a talented and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Cheba Hut. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the bar area, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
**Responsibilities:**
- Enforce all liquor laws and regulations
- Provide an exceptional customer experience, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued
- Serve drinks as needed, following all recipes and presentation standards
- Receive and stock liquor and beer deliveries, double-checking invoices and filing them accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Participate in opening, shift change, closing, and cleaning checklists
- Prepare daily and happy hour specials, promoting them to customers
- Ensure menus are always up-to-date and available to customers
- Collaborate with the bar manager or GM to stay informed about upcoming events and promotions
**Requirements:**
- Think 'shop first'/customer first' mindset
- Demonstrate integrity, self-direction, and effective communication skills
- Ability to work well under physically and mentally stressful situations
- Reliable transportation, access to a smartphone, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stamina to work an 8-hour shift, standing for up to 8 hours per day
**Working Conditions:**
- Late-night availability is a plus (open till 2am on weekend nights)
- Overtime may be required
