Certified Escalator Technician
We are looking for an experienced Certified Escalator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Certified Elevator Technician (CET) license or a State-Issued Elevator Mechanic License and have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of elevator systems. This position requires expertise in using both hand and electrical tools, as well as proficiency in electrical testing equipment.

This position requires expertise in using both hand and electrical tools, as well as proficiency in electrical testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of elevators and related systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure elevator systems are functioning efficiently and in compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
- Execute annual safety tests on elevator systems to verify the proper functioning of all safety devices.
- Assess current elevator systems and recommend upgrades, modifications, or replacements as needed.
- Work in various conditions, including confined spaces like elevator shafts and pits, which may be dusty, greasy, or have temperatures over 100 degrees.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure elevator systems meet operational and safety requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotations to handle emergency elevator repairs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Elevator Technician (CET) license or State-Issued Elevator Mechanic License.
- Proficiency with hand tools and electrical equipment (e.g., grinders, drill motors, coring machines).
- Experience with electrical reading/testing equipment, hoisting/rigging equipment, and chain tackles.
- Physically capable of climbing, crawling, stooping, lifting, and working in challenging environments.
- Ability to lift and carry tools/materials over 50 lbs and assist with loads up to 200 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights and near moving machinery.
- Willingness to work on-call for emergency repairs.
