About the Role
We are searching for a Government Contract Compliance Specialist to oversee cost accounting, financial compliance, and variance reporting for one of our major clients in Los Alamitos, CA.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of government contract accounting principles, CAS, FAR, and DFARS compliance, as well as experience with ERP systems, such as BPCS/Arrowhead ERP.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with government contract accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting methodologies, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare cost proposals and financial reports compliant with government contracting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of cost accounting experience in either aerospace or high-volume manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience with government contract accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
