Credentialed Instructional Aide and Youth Mentor
Schedule: Part-time, Monday - Friday, open between 7am-6pm
Location: Various school sites within the Twin Rivers Unified School District
Expected Hourly Rate: $35 per hour
Start & End Date: Current Program- 06/06/2025

THE ROLE
- Collaborate with teachers to provide direct instruction and support to small groups or individual students.
- Act as a positive role model and build strong connections with students.
- Assist teachers in all aspects of the classroom, including maintaining a safe environment, managing supplies, and preparing instructional materials.
- Assist with assessing student progress, grading, and providing support when needed.
- Predict teacher needs, anticipate student behavior, and problem-solve effectively within the classroom.
- Invest in seeing the classroom from different perspectives and use your passion for language arts, math, and reading to make learning fun and engaging for all
students.
ABOUT YOU
- Comfortable supporting teachers in creating a positive learning environment for students.
- Assisting teachers with classroom preparation of materials and equipment
- Supervising students during non-instructional times
- Providing essential academic support to students (e.g., flashcards, drills)
- Grading assignments and maintaining records
- Managing clerical tasks such as filing, copying as needed
Additional Requirements
- **Requires: Substitute Teacher permit and Teaching Credential Certificate**
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening reimbursed by Elevo.
- 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences strongly preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.

- Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity.

Salary : $19 - $35
