What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press brake position at Elgen Staffing?
Our candidate of choice will have 3 years’ experience setting up and operating press brakes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Produce parts and tools from metal or other materials using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends, punches, or cuts into material.
Operators look at blueprints for the finished product, make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path of the bend, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.
Make sure machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output.
Look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production.KEY REQUIREMENTS : High School Diploma or EquivalentStrong Communication skillsSelf-MotivatorAttention to DetailAbility to analyze blueprints and knowledge of Manufacturing EquipmentAptitude for math, problem-solving and computer skills3 years’ experience using a CNC Press Brake.
