Job Overview
We are seeking a smart, hard-working, and dedicated individual who wants to learn all aspects of Human Resources and Payroll from the ground up in a hands learning environment where challenges and team dedication get lived out every day. The ideal candidate will provide support to our other human resources professionals in serving our clients to streamline HR workload, improve compliance, reduce business risks, and enhance employee morale. The position requires an individual who has excellent organizational skills, an attention to details, a commitment to deadlines, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Duties
- Performing administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails for the HR department.
- Assisting the HR Manager in drafting employee communications.
- Submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling job interviews.
- Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees.
- Serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries.
- Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings/events.
- Ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws.
- Manage the life cycle of the client’s employees from job requisition to termination and exit interviews.
- Timesheet collection and payroll processing.
- Prepare yearend audits and reports for Workers Comp, 401k, OSHA, and EEO.
- Complete various client HR projects and tasks as needed.
- Prepare reports and meetings for client executives.
- Maintaining proper records of employee attendance and leave to assist with payroll duties for multiple clients.
- Assisting the HR Manager in policy formulation and implementation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED Certificate
- Strong computer proficiency including MS Office Suite
- Type a minimum of seventy words per minute
- Bilingual English / Spanish a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
