What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Analyst position at Eliassen Group?
Our client is seeking a passionate Systems Analyst to deliver top-tier solutions for platform development. You will lead the process of gathering and defining business requirements to support technical services.
You will work onsite two weeks per month (M-F) in Smithfield, RI and two weeks remote.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2
Role Overview:
- Define and deliver features for a complex platform
- Migrate existing alerts from legacy systems to a modern cloud-based platform
- Collaborate with business and system teams to ensure product requirements are met
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the gathering of business requirements through interviews and sessions
- Analyze workflows, identify opportunities, and recommend future approaches
- Develop user definitions, use cases, and workflow diagrams
- Present findings to various management levels
- Ensure solutions are well-conceived and delivered to high standards
Qualifications:
- 5 years as a systems analyst
- 3 years in the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- Experience with agile tools like Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile best practices
- Expertise reading and writing SQL queries
- Working knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.)

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
