WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Maintenance Technician Lead is responsible for organizing, scheduling and monitoring daily work order requests and ensuring timely completion by a team of technicians. Will conduct physical drills and tests as assigned. Will perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, train and maintain building and facility equipment as required. Follow industry standards for all safety compliance using required systems and processes to support the achievement of Elica’s business goals and objectives.

Requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The successful candidate will be willing and able to:
- Responsible for the timely completion of repairs and maintenance of all company owned assets in a timely manner using an electronic work order system.
- Supervise the company technicians to resolve all company maintenance issues in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Responsible for daily and weekly reports on team productivity
- Set up, maintain and perform preventative maintenance including painting, minor plumbing repairs, light electrical, flooring repairs, lighting replacement, light janitorial, clean up and other duties as assigned
- Train the team on the proper and safe use of various hand tools following OSHA regulations.
- Must be able to climb, lift , stretch , bend. stoop and willing to work on elevated platforms.
- Overseeing contractors and bid processes when required for outsourced repairs are necessary using specified company purchasing policies.
- Manage small moves and office restacks as assigned within time frame and on budget. Pre planning concept to final clean up and delivery.
- Troubleshoot repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary. Schedule outsourced repairs when needed.
- Monitor and update annual spend tracking tools, supplies and truck inventories.
- Pick up and deliver various items using personal and company vehicles to complete required job tasks. (mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use).
- After hours work availability as needed.
- Help build strong team core values.
- Assist Fleet Manager with maintenance scheduled service needs on company vehicles.
- Other duties as required.
The successful candidate has:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Valid driver's license
- Related degree or license from a trade or technical college preferred or minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in the maintenance service trades.
- Proven maintenance experience (demonstrated construction knowledge background)
- Skilled in the proper use of hand and power tools
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
- Ability to source repair manuals, or parts catalogs when necessary.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.
- The Clinical Centers are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Late afternoon and/or Saturday shifts may be assigned as demand dictates.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The work environment is characteristic of both indoor and outdoor environments at both corporate office and healthcare facility settings. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position; use hands to handle or lift. The employee is also required to move and position themselves to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally move, position and/or remove up to 70 pounds, and be able to position themselves to ascend/descend ladders and stairs to complete services while practicing all OSHA approved workplace guidelines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud; incumbent must be able to focus in an environment with many distractions. Compensation - Dependent Upon Experience
$22.00 - $28.60 an hour
