WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to include; troubleshooting, analyzing, repairing, purchasing and maintaining all building and medical equipment as needed. Make sure work orders are issued and completed within company guidelines. Key support for asset tracking and inventory control for all equipment and costs. Follow industry standards for all safety compliance to support the achievement of Elica’s business goals and objectives.

Requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The successful candidate will be willing and able to:
- Maintain clinic buildings in a safe and clean environment at all times putting patient needs first.
- Conducting routine inspections of building premises and all equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance including painting, minor plumbing repairs, light electrical, flooring repairs, filter changes, lighting replacement, light janitorial, clean up and other duties as assigned
- Handle basic building repairs and maintenance with the proper and safe use of various hand tools, machinery and computer equipment as needed.
- Maintain daily work orders as assigned. Using the company electronic work order system Determine best use of available resources based on priority levels and rating.
- Overseeing contractors and bid process when outsourced repairs are necessary using specified company purchasing policies and approved vendors.
- Manage small moves and office restacks as assigned. Pre planning concept to final clean up and delivery and move in follow up.
- Monitor and update annual spend tracking tools to maintain budget accuracy
- Pick up and deliver various items using personal and company vehicles to complete required job tasks. (mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use).
- Other duties as required.
The successful candidate has:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Related certifications or license from a trade or technical college preferred or minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in the maintenance service field
- Understanding of building construction and mechanical, plumbing and electrical system operations .
- Skilled in the proper use of hand and power tools following OSHA guidelines
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
- Ability to source repair manuals, or parts catalogs when necessary.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.
- The Clinical Centers are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Late afternoon and/or Saturday shifts may be assigned as demand dictates.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The work environment is characteristic of both indoor and outdoor environments at both corporate office and healthcare facility settings. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position; use hands to handle or lift. The employee is also required to move and position themselves to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally move, position and/or remove up to 70 pounds, and be able to position themselves to ascend/descend ladders and stairs to complete services while practicing all OSHA approved workplace guidelines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud; incumbent must be able to focus in an environment with many distractions. Compensation - Dependent Upon Experience
$22.00 - $28.60 an hour
