We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional guest services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant’s quality standards.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle any guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terminology is a plus.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest services.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed.
