Senior Living Sales Specialist
Elim Park Baptist Home (a not for profit, faith-based community), a leading Senior Living Life Plan Community in Connecticut, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Life Plan Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in helping prospective residents and their families navigate the process of finding a new home and community that meets their needs. The ideal candidate will combine a sales-driven mindset with a genuine passion for working with seniors, delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management:
Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents and families via phone, email, and in-person visits.
Follow up with leads to schedule tours and consultations, maintaining consistent communication. Track all interactions in the CRM system.
- Tours and Presentations:
Conduct engaging and informative tours of the community, highlighting features, amenities, and services.
Present tailored solutions based on the needs, preferences, and goals of prospective residents and their families.
- Relationship Building:
Build trust and rapport with prospective residents and families.
Maintain strong relationships with current residents to facilitate referrals.
- Sales Process:
Educate and guide prospective residents and families through the decision making process, addressing concerns and objections.
Close sales to meet or exceed monthly occupancy and revenue goals.
Contract completion, move-in coordination, and follow-up.
- Community Outreach:
Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, businesses, and community organizations to generate referrals.
Attend networking events and participate in community marketing initiatives.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
Partner with the marketing team to execute campaigns and events that attract prospects.
Collaborate with operations and care teams to ensure a smooth transition for new residents.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or senior living (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic and patient approach.
- Ability to listen actively, identify needs, and offer appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic office software.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
- Flexibility to work after hours as needed.
