Vice President of Ambulatory Surgery
We are an outpatient surgery center group with a heavy presence in metro Atlanta, totaling over 10 surgery centers in the area.
We are a seeking a candidate with a wealth of surgical services experience, including extensive ambulatory surgery and leadership experience to lead our team and report directly to our CEO.
What we would like to see :
- Integrate KPI metrics into operational and strategic decisions with staff and physician leadership. Set up a process to ensure ongoing compliance and accreditation according to AAAHC and State / Fed requirements.
- Lead regional managers overseeing the ASC staffing (FT and augmented based on need).
- Structure operations, programs, and activities in the clinical area with physician collaboration.
- Oversee procurement for 10 ASCs to ensure all exam and treatment rooms are supplied with appropriate supplies and instruments.
- Ensure staff are trained and competent in current infection prevention policies and procedures.
- Uphold and implement organizational policy and procedures in conjunction with the Governing Body.
- Utilizes nursing care standards when planning and implementing patient care and / or coordinating and directing patient care assignments to personnel.
- Oversees 10 ASCs and staff including Regional Managers, Registered Nurses, Surgical Technicians, and Medical Assistants
- Develops, through collaboration with Nurse Managers and nursing team, all clinical policies, procedures, and programs for the surgery center.
- Directs and oversees accreditation process.
