What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Program Specialist position at Eliot Community Human Services?

Qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 21
- Valid MA State Driver's License
Responsibilities:
1. Deploy to any program as staffing needs dictate.
2. Be thoroughly familiar with all policies and procedures for all program models and populations funded by DCF and DYS, including Adolescent Staff Secure, Adolescent Detention, Latency CTR and Latency ERP.
3. Serve as a role model for other staff by adhering to all applicable policies and procedures.
4. Perform all assigned duties at various locations during various shifts.
5. Serve as the Shift Supervisor on each assigned shift. Participate in and collaborate with all team members of the assigned program.
6. Model, train, direct and supervise all staff while keeping with the program policies and practices.
7. Engage and relate to a diverse population to establish a trusting relationship that aligns with the unique needs of the youth (age, setting, etc.)
8. Daily coordination of youth and staff in executing the plan of the day in accordance with program, DCF, DYS, DMH, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures.
9. Report and document concerns to the Program Director or designee.
10. Attend supervision, staff and shift change meetings and training as required.
11. Co-lead daily groups as assigned.
12. Assist with crisis management and utilize CPI skills.
13. Follow through on program schedules.
14. Respect the diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times.
15. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Social Work
