Facility Technician

Eliot Community Human Services, one of Massachusetts largest non-profit agencies, is currently seeking a Facility Technician Employee. Based out of the Lynn area, the ideal candidate will:

• Be VERY hands on, with through attention to detail
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have thorough knowledge of safety procedures, building codes, and construction methods.
• Be part of rotating on-call schedule nights/weekends in case of emergencies
• Have a valid driver's license
• General Contractor's license preferred
  
  

Responsibilities will include:

• Complete all work orders, routine and emergency maintenance for assigned buildings and ability to manage electronic work order system.
• Ability to perform hands on repairs to assigned locations including but not limited to light carpentry and general repairs
• Conduct routine inspections of all assigned buildings. Adhere to maintenance policies and compliance with licensing/regulatory requirements.
• Participate in special building projects as directed by the supervisor.
• Be a part of a 10 week rotation on-call schedule night and weekends (1 x every 10 weeks) in case of emergencies as necessary.

Qualifications: Minimum three years experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4 pm

Location: Lynn area, office headquarters in Lexington, MA 

Salary Range: $60,000- $70,000 based on skill set.
