- Lead and supervise a team of quality inspectors to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to standards.
- Perform regular audits, inspections, and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and address quality issues proactively.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality concerns, improve processes, and optimize product quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP), and company quality policies.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve non-conformance issues and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain records of inspections, audits, testing, and corrective actions taken.
- Continuously evaluate and improve quality control systems to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean).
- Experience in leading and managing quality control teams, implementing training programs, and fostering a culture of quality.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving quality goals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex quality issues.
- Proficiency in quality management software, statistical tools, and testing equipment.
