What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Position at Dance Studio position at Elite Dance Academy?

Job Description: You will have absolute responsibility to provide the best experience for our dancers and their families by answering questions in person, over the phone and via text and email about dance classes, events and anything else they might need help with throughout their dance season. You will also enroll students in classes, camps and special events like recitals and shows. You will help students get to classes and answer their questions as well as providing support to our dance teachers during your shifts.

Specific Job Duties include but not limited to...
- Tasks given to you from your manager to complete during your shift
- Selling Classes and Offerings
- Registering students
- Answer the phones and check and respond to voicemail
- Responding to and sending customer emails
- Responding to and sending customer texts
- Booking private lessons and letting teachers know
- All Family Communication related to things like but not limited to:
- Studio Closures
- Class Updates such as Cancellation, Addition, Time Change, etc.
- Surveys of any kind
- In House Event notice/reminders such as Parent Observation, Spirit Week, Pathway/VIP Meeting notice
Time Needed: 10-20 hours per week during weekdays at the studio - July through June, excluding Thanksgiving week, Holiday Break Closure, Spring Break Week, Summer select hours
Total Package Wage: $15-$20/hr (10-20 hours per week) This wage will be paid out with monthly payroll July - June. If you decide to decline, change position or are dismissed prior to completion date all hours not completed will not be paid out. Detailed time tracking is required for all roles. Payment will not be remitted without time tracking submitted to management. Management reserves the right to cancel, adjust, or amend any part of this contract at its discretion.
