What You’ll Do
- Develop the Overall Sales & Marketing Plan:
- Craft a comprehensive yet realistic marketing plan that works within our modest budget, using creative, local, and digital strategies to boost enrollment and revenue.
- Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Design, execute, and fine-tune digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, and email marketing) with an emphasis on cost efficiency.
- Experiment with low-cost, high-impact tactics that reach local families in a competitive dance studio market.
- Creative Direction & Design:
- Use Canva to create eye-catching marketing materials for both online campaigns and in-studio promotions.
- Oversee or collaborate with external designers when needed, ensuring every asset aligns with our brand and budget constraints.
- Campaign & Promotion Management:
- Manage year-long promotions and coordinate four major pushes:
- Summer Enrollment: Boost summer program sign-ups.
- Fall Enrollment: Drive enrollment from July through September.
- New Year Enrollment: Kick-start the enrollment year with strong January promotions.
- Two Additional Major Campaigns: Plan two more key campaign annually.
- Implement creative, local guerrilla marketing tactics and community outreach to stand out in a saturated market.
- Ensure internal communications support these efforts and align with our overall strategy.
- Manage year-long promotions and coordinate four major pushes:
- Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Monitor essential metrics:
- 15% Increase in Total Tuition Revenue
- Growth of 100 New Recreational Students (annually)
- 20% Increase in Qualified Leads
- 90% Process Completion on Campaign Initiatives
- 80% Achievement on Special Promotion Goals
- Use data to make real-time adjustments and continuously improve campaign performance.
- Monitor essential metrics:
- Collaboration & Accountability:
- Work closely with our internal team and external vendors to ensure a cohesive, transparent marketing effort.
- Provide clear, ongoing performance reporting to keep everyone informed and accountable.

- Experience & Mindset:
- A background in digital marketing, especially with limited budgets, is a plus—experience in the performing arts, education, or similar service industries is beneficial.
- A DIY spirit with a track record of innovative, grassroots marketing efforts.
- Technical & Creative Skills:
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, email marketing systems) on a budget.
- Strong skills using Canva to create and direct engaging, professional marketing materials.
- Analytical & Resourceful:
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies quickly to maximize ROI.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the drive to test new ideas—even if it means thinking outside the box and using guerrilla tactics.
- Communication & Independence:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a part-time, performance-based role (approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility during peak periods).

Compensation Structure
- Base Pay:
- Competitive hourly rate of $25–$35 per hour (based on experience) for approximately 20 hours per week.
- Performance Bonuses/Commission:
- Incentives tied to key performance outcomes, with examples such as:
- Bonuses for reaching or exceeding 100 new recreational enrollments annually.
- Revenue growth bonuses for achieving a 15% increase in total tuition revenue.
- Additional bonuses for surpassing a 20% increase in qualified leads.

- Quarterly Reviews:
- Regular performance evaluations to adjust compensation and ensure alignment with our growth goals.
