- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment processes for internal positions and assist with onboarding of new hires.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with California labor laws.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee concerns and grievances with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR practices align with local, state, and federal labor laws, including worker’s compensation and OSHA requirements.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and employee development programs.
- HR Administration: Maintain personnel records, process documentation, and HR reports.
- Training: Develop and deliver training programs for staff as needed.
- Policy Development: Create and enforce HR policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of a staffing agency.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 1 year of HR management experience, preferably within the staffing industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of California labor laws and payroll processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
