What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Manager position at Elite Hiring Partners?
Reporting to the CEO, this position will support all administration functions, oversee
tracking / seeking job leads and implement metrics within the Sales Department as well as interacting with other departments through various communications.
Essential Duties :
1. Leadership and Core Functions :
Develop and execute the inside sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
Establish performance metrics and sales goals for the inside sales team.
Lead the search for new bids, contracts and new proposals.
Responsible for bid packages and collecting all the required information to submit
Ensure team is trained and knowledgeable on products and services to meet the customer inquires and requests for quotes
Work with Outside Sales to support information requests, project bids and documenting new opportunities.
2. Team Management :
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of inside sales representatives.
Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Customer Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Ensure timely follow-ups, effective communication, and resolution of customer inquiries.
Ensure collaboration with estimating, operations and sales to provide streamlined communication to customers.
Oversee customer satisfaction metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
4. Operational Efficiency :
Optimize sales processes and workflows to improve team productivity.
Leverage and manage CRM tools and analytics to track sales performance and drive data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with other departments, such as estimating, operations and marketing, to streamline processes and align strategies.
5. Reporting & Analysis :
Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key insights to senior management.
Identify trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.
Required Knowledge :
Construction background strongly preferred
Strong analytic skills
Strong CRM background
Experience and understanding of the pre-qualification process a plus
Supervisory skills a plus
Sales and / or marketing experience
Strong knowledge of basic computer software and MS Office, especially Excel

Physical Requirements & Work Environment :
Requires standing for prolonged periods of time
Requires remaining in the seated position for prolonged periods of time

Requires repetitive movement
Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment and moving vehicular traffic
Exposure to reasonable noise levels
Education and Experience :
Minimum 2 years of related experience in construction industry
