Position Summary
The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) will lead a team of Account Managers (AMs) responsible for managing key customer accounts and supporting Client Partnership Managers (CPMs) in driving growth initiatives. This role ensures the seamless execution of customer programs, improves operational efficiencies, and drives the performance of the Account Management team to meet organizational goals. The ISM is a critical leadership position focused on team performance, sales support, process improvements, and customer success across various stages of the sales cycle. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Services.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week onsite at our Los Angeles headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and coach a team of Account Managers, ensuring clear goal setting and alignment with company objectives.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture rooted in accountability and a customer-first mindset.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for the team.
- Ensure AMs own their accounts, develop strategies for exceptional service, and address customer business challenges.
- Serve as a role model for effective communication, organization, and execution.
Sales Support & Execution
- Collaborate closely with Client Partnership Managers (CPMs) to ensure smooth execution of client programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Ensure AMs are equipped to handle customer needs, from order execution to program launches, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee workload distribution and resource allocation to optimize support for clients and the overall sales strategy.
- Monitor team performance using project management tools (HubSpot, Monday.com, etc.), ensuring timely completion of client projects and requests.
Process Improvement & Problem Solving
- Proactively identify process bottlenecks or inefficiencies impacting client success and team productivity.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes, ensuring faster, more accurate execution of tasks and client-facing deliverables.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows and resolve challenges in a timely manner.
Reporting & Accountability
- Track and report on team performance, productivity metrics, and client impact to senior sales leadership.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting of key account details, project statuses, and client updates.
- Support preparation for internal business reviews and client meetings with accurate data and project completion status.
Other Duties
- Lead special projects aimed at enhancing account management processes and customer success.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth transitions and goal alignment.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Services to ensure alignment across teams and smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer support; 1 year of experience managing a team.
- Proven ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while driving a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Experience with CRM and project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, NetSuite, Monday.com) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.

- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze data to inform decision-making.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
