At Elite Hormones, you will help build trusting relationships with patients and work closely with the staff to provide top quality medical care. In addition to providing excellent customer service and direct patient care, there will be a variety of administrative tasks you will be asked to perform that are essential for Elite Hormones to run smoothly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in gathering patient history and information relevant to our services.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and document changes, particularly hormone-related symptoms and treatment responses.
  • Perform regular follow-up assessments, including lab tests (e.g., blood draws for hormone levels) under provider supervision.
  • Administer hormone replacement therapies (e.g., injections, patches, creams) under provider supervision.
  • Educate patients on how to self-administer hormone therapies at home if required.
  • Monitor for side effects or reactions during and after treatment administration.
  • Provide education to patients about our services including potential benefits, risks, and expected outcomes.
  • Offer ongoing support for patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns about their treatments.
  • Prepare and assist with hormone pellet insertion procedures.
  • Handle medical equipment and prepare exam rooms for procedures.
  • Ensure all instruments and supplies are sterile and prepared for each patient visit.
  • Collect, label, and prepare blood samples for lab testing to monitor hormone levels.
  • Accurately document patient information and progress in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies, including HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide clinical support during patient consultations.
  • Follow up with patients on their treatment progress via phone or email.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow during clinic hours.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures, clinic policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, including hormone therapies.
  • Communicate with patients via EMR system, phone, text and/or email.
  • Review appropriate onboarding forms and paperwork before patient visits.
  • Review patients’ history, medications, allergies, etc., regularly. Be knowledgeable of each patient’s care and prepared for every visit.
  • Build rapport and relationships with patients and make yourself accessible to them.
  • Remain updated with all internal communications daily.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of all services and offerings at Elite Hormones and assist with recommending to patients.
  • Ensure safe administration of all services and educate patients on the effects and possible side effects.
  • Triage patients, be aware of normal vital sign parameters and follow standard protocols for abnormalities.
  • Communicate efficiently and professionally to the entire team and to patients.
  • Complete patient charting/documentation within 24 hours of their visit.
  • Answer phone calls and inquiries when needed and educate clients and potential clients about Elite Hormones and all services offered.
  • Be aware that our services are not one-size-fits-all and that patients need specific and personalized attention and care.
  • Practice compassion and non-judgment with all patients.
  • Use all appropriate apps and software services utilized by Elite Hormones.
  • Perform administrative duties, including restocking supplies, maintaining a sterile environment, alerting of low stock, anticipating stock needs, ordering certain materials, etc.
  • Remain curious and commit to developing your knowledge about our services and other relevant cutting-edge therapies applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records in EMR and adhere to all HIPAA protocols.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Contribute to the company culture by actively participating in all team meetings, huddles, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse: Must hold an unrestricted and active state license in Wisconsin.
  • At least 1 year of experience practicing in a similar role, family or internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, endocrinology, or urology. Aesthetic experience not necessary but desirable.
  • Track record of personal investment into nutritional medicine, wellness, disease prevention, etc.
  • BLS Certified (required)

Conditions:

  • This is a part-time position, starting at 24 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
  • Hours during the week are flexible within reasonable time frames.
  • This position does not include health or dental benefits, although we do provide 401k with a 3% safe harbor employee plan, employee discounts on products and services, vacation/PTO time, and flexible scheduling.
