We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. This role involves taking ownership of financial operations, drive efficiency, and will play a crucial role in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive accounting experience and a proven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP principles.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
- Assist with tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
- Ensure proper documentation and internal controls are in place.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience Requirements:
- With CPA: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience.
- Without CPA: Minimum of 4-5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
