The primary objective of Sales Dept. Porter is to pull, release and organize forklifts and allied material receiving and delivering product to the customers. Additional duties include general cleaning of work area, some mechanical tasks, data entry, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the Sales Support and Used Equipment departments in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- General Organizing of the sales warehouse, equipment and miscellaneous product.
- At least 1 year of forklift knowledge
- Unloading of new equipment deliveries, organizing, tagging and organize movement through the processes. Completing receiving and release paperwork, document all issues, take pictures and upload information into database.
- Working cohesively with neighboring parts and service departments.
- Back up to general shipping and receiving.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Equipment Asset Manager
Requirements
Job Requirements:
To qualify for this role, you must be able to communicate effectively with management and team-members of the Sales dept and all other departments within Elite Material Handling, possess strong teamwork skills and the ability take on multiple tasks and prioritize them, as well as the following requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Intermediate computer skills required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
- Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken word.
- Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
- Available for overtime when assigned and/or required.
- Effectively use a company assigned iPad or computer.
- Manage a company email account and communicate effectively using all company assigned modes of communication.
- Some mechanic and technician skills highly valued for this position.
- Flexibility and critical thinking are a must in this role.
- Knowledge of warehouse and forklift, and OSHA safety. You must be forklift safety certified. We will provide this if not current.
