Elite is seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, providing crucial support across multiple clinics in SE Fresno County. As a Medical Assistant - Clinic Floater, you will be responsible for offering comprehensive front and back-office assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of our healthcare facilities. This position has the possibility of providing short term coverage at other clinic locations in Tulare, Kings and Stanislaus counties.

- Graduate of a Medical Assistant certification program.
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish (read, write and speak fluently).
- Proficient in medication administration, capillary and venipuncture.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care.
- Familiarity with basic life support (BLS) procedures.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, with ability to adapt to working in different locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have an active driver's license that meets California driving requirements and company vehicle insurance guidelines.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare professionals.
- Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques.
- Schedule appointments, manage medical records, and handle forms.
