Elite is seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant floater to join our team full-time (32-40 hours per week), providing front and back-office support across multiple clinics in Tulare and Kings counties. This role requires flexibility to cover various locations as needed, including Sanger, Selma, and Porterville. The regular schedule will be:
- Mondays: City of Visalia (9 AM – 6 PM)
- Tuesday – Friday: VUSD (8 AM – 5 PM)
- Saturdays: Open availability for call-out coverage at City of Visalia and VUSD

- Graduate of a Medical Assistant certification program.
- Proficient in medication administration, capillary and venipuncture.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care.
- Familiarity with basic life support (BLS) procedures.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, with ability to adapt to working in different locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have an active driver's license that meets California driving requirements and company vehicle insurance guidelines.
- Bilingual English/Spanish (read, write and speak fluently) not required but preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare professionals.
- Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques.
- Schedule appointments, manage medical records, and handle forms.
