Medical Assistant Floater

Elite is seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant floater to join our team full-time (32-40 hours per week), providing front and back-office support across multiple clinics in Tulare and Kings counties.

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant certification program.
• Proficient in medication administration, capillary and venipuncture.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care.
• Familiarity with basic life support (BLS) procedures.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, with ability to adapt to working in different locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have an active driver's license that meets California driving requirements and company vehicle insurance guidelines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare professionals.
• Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
• Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques.
• Schedule appointments, manage medical records, and handle forms.
